When you contact us. If you use the form on the Connect page, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, email address and message, and optionally your organisation, your role, what brings you to TIHI, and whether you would like to hear about future TIHI developments, events and publications.

When you visit the website. We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the website is used. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal information or track you across other websites. It gives us aggregate figures only, such as which pages are visited, which websites referred visitors, and visitors' approximate country, browser, operating system and device type. Plausible does not store IP addresses and does not identify individual visitors.

Cookies. This website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking.

We use the information you send through the contact form to read and respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of our correspondence. When you submit the form, we send you a short email confirming that your message has arrived.

If you tick the box on the form, we may also contact you about future TIHI developments, events and publications. This is optional, and you can ask us to stop at any time by emailing [email protected].

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We use a small number of service providers to operate the website and handle enquiries:

• Abacus.AI hosts the website and the database where contact form enquiries are stored, and delivers the email notifications the form sends.
• Proton provides our email, so replies to your enquiry are sent and received through Proton.
• Plausible Analytics provides the aggregate website statistics described above.

These providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States, the European Union and Switzerland.

We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and to maintain a record of our correspondence. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable time.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. Information sent through this website is transmitted over an encrypted connection.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
